The history of the hotel dates back to 1906 – and since 1943, it has been the Kjær family behind it. It still is. We continuously renovate both inside and out, but we always base our work on the original charm and style. We take great pride in this, and it gives the hotel a very special atmosphere.

We offer a wide range of cozy hotel rooms, with a breakfast buffet included as a minimum, but we also offer stays with half-board, where you can simply relax, enjoy the great food and service – and not least, the beautiful view. Hotel Hammersø is for adults only, so all hotel guests must be at least 14 years old.

In addition to hotel rooms, we also offer studio apartments and a larger holiday apartment, all located in the area around Hotel Hammersø in Sandvig.

If you'd like to spend your holiday in a cottage on Bornholm, we also offer 3 cottages through Hotel Hammersø. The small, charming house "Strandhytten" at Boderne Beach, the "Hammerblik" holiday house in Sandvig, and the slightly larger holiday house by Dueodde Beach in South Bornholm.
